My dad bought this car in Milan Italy in 1967. It was one of the first off the line – the VIN is #1406. We lived in Milan for a couple of years, then shipped the car to the states with us when we moved back. This model wasn’t sold in the US until 1968, so in that respect it’s quite rare. It still has some of the original Italian gauges, including the speedometer in Kilometers Per Hour. My dad commuted to work in this car every day for about 10 years, then it became a weekend-only car, and finally he fixed it up a bit and gave it to me in 1992. Since then I’ve been garaging it for most of each year, then I get it out and running each summer. Engine: 1592cc DOHC (replacement for original 1438cc), 105 hp. Odometer: 180,504 km (approximately 112,000 miles), but very few of those are on the replacement engine. Running: not currently, dead battery and doesn’t jump start. The clutch is relatively new. Electronics generally work OK. The body is in decent shape. The interior is almost all original. The muffler is only a few years old and has a nice chrome tailpipe. For sale, guessing in the $1,500-2,000 range.
