'69 rebodied with '79 backdated chassis as '74 DP 1.8L Vintage Racer. The original AS body car was built from new by E.J. Trivette out of Florida in 1970 as a G Production car, and was modified and improved over the years up to my ownership as an E Production car, and then a NASA ST3 racer. The original roll cage, with two bars added over the years as rules changed in SCCA, was cut out and moved over to the new chassis, so some historic provenance was maintained in this build. I built to car to conform to SVRA Group3, D Production, which shows the only configuration for what I want in a 124 Spider build as a 1974 model, with the 1756 TC engine, and dual IDFs. This was the most universal way for me to build the car the way I wanted, and still run with most Vintage groups. Found at mirafiori.com.
